This Antique Military Shaving Kit
is made by Gillette. The cover features an American Eagle in the center with a shield above a banner for engraving. To the left of the eagle is an emblem consisting of sward crossing a riffle crossing a cannon with a castle in the foreground. To the right of the eagle is an emblem consisting of an anchor crossing a flag crossing a shaft with two intertwined snakes. The hinges look good and are in working condition. The inside of the cover is lined with purple satin which is in very good condition. The bottom interior is lined with black velvet.
This kit includes:
1. A metal mirror lined with purple satin which reads
"MADE IN U.S.A., TRADE - Gillette - MARK,
KNOWN THE WORLD OVER, US, SERVICE SET".
2. A metal razor blade container which holds four
original razors in their original packaging.
The top of the box features the Gillette logo.
3. A razor head consisting on two pieces of metal.
4. A razor handle which the razor head screws into.

This antique shaving set would make a great addition to any collection!

Most of the items sold under the Everett Estate were the property of the late Mrs. Everett, who died in early 2001. She led an interesting life: spent a year travelling around the world when she was in her 20's (during the 1930's) and later lived up and down the eastern seaboard collecting 3 husbands and other interesting if not valuable items, many of which will be sold here.
